Emily and John had their beautiful reception at Emily's stunning georgian home Clonminch house in Tullamore. Like Emily's home the wedding day was in keeping with a vintage style. Emily was so elegantly dressed in a beautiful full length gown and bird cage head piece from the 'White Room' in Mullingar. The 1940's coloring and style was reflected easily in the wedding photographs. I loved photographing Emily and her family in the morning so relaxed and at ease in their home. John had popped the question in the house and it was lovely that they decided to celebrate after the ceremony in place where she said 'yes'. John was driven to the ceremony in a red massy ferguson tractor as a surprise for Emily. Emily waved from her window as the boys drove by. The mass was one of the nicest I've witnessed with the priest having everyone hug each other instead of shaking hands. Afterwards the newlyweds greeted their guests back at Emilys home on a long red carpet leading to a classy black tie affair in a marquee in the garden, which was decorated beautifully by little buckets and jars of summer flowers and fab bouquets from 'A room in Bloom' in Tullamore.

Country Escape
Colin and Deidre's summer wedding took place in the majestic St Michaels church in Castletown Geoghan. I adore the doorway of this church it always gives a great frame for a silhouette of the Bride and Groom. This happy couple were very sure that they wanted relaxed but romantic photographs once the ceremony commenced so I suggested having their portraits taken on the lovely grounds of Mount Druid in Castletown. I love Mount druid because there is so many little cute spots in which to play with not to mention props like the cute vintage bike that Colin and Deidre were more than happy to use for there 'just hitched' mode of transport. Mount druid not only has little stone bridges, great green fields, mature trees and lane ways it also has its own lake, little follies and a walled garden. The possibilities for photographs are endless. After we shot the bride and groom and their bridal party we headed back to Middleton Park house for the reception and family photographs. Middleton wows with grandeur and has the most magnificent staircase that gave Colin and Deidre their grand entrance as Mr & Mrs.
